Reports from the Games and Mobile forum suggest gamers will also be forking out on the Playstation3...


If ever there was proof that the Next-Gen will usher in an age of commerce along with High-Definition, reports from the recent Games and Mobile forum suggest that the Playstation3 will feature user âmicro-transactionsâ much like the Xbox360.

During a keynote speech delivered by John Smedley, the President of Sony Online Entertainment claimed that this would become commonplace within the videogames industry, and painted a picture of games extending between the PS3, PSP, PC and your mobile phone.

The concept of virtual objects having a real-world value is however cause for much concern amongst gamers, with issues such as cheating, mining and the age-old dilemma about the ârich kids having the bigger toysâ, a common discussion within gaming circles.

The full deal on micro-transactions is likely to form a dominant piece during both Microsoft and Sonyâs E3 conferences; so you can place your bets that weâll be having lots more on this sore subject soon.

Why do people say its ffVII sequel!!! If you read the initial story it says it has nothing to do with ffV11 and its not an RPG!! Chances are there is no big announcement and it was a big joke!!
