The story begins as an unidentified paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in special forces, but loses contact as an eerie signal interrupts radio communications. When the interference subsides moments later, the team has been obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart before they can even react.

Watch out for Alma, F.E.A.R is on the way to the PlayStation3...


Confirming recent rumours, Vivendi Games today confirmed that the psychological-shooter, F.E.A.R, will be making an appearance on the PlayStation3.

Scheduled for launch alongside the Xbox 360 version in November, making it a likely candidate for the system's launch period, F.E.A.R on the PlayStation3 is currently in development at Day1 Studios and will feature exclusive single-player content.

Hopefully the appearance of F.E.A.R on the next-generation consoles will strengthen the success of the title, which found itself a victim of its own success on the PC due to its excessive technical specifications.
