In further "we've done better then you"; Sony claim to have shifted 500,000 PS2 network adaptors in the states.
Stealing some of the thunder away from Microsoftâs launch of Xbox Live! in Europe; SCEA have announced that they have sold an impressive 500,000 PS2 Network Connectors in the US, eclipsing the 360,000 recently claimed by Microsoft.
To cope with the demand, Sony claimed that it would double shipments and intends to shift a further 1million adaptors before the end of March. Sony have yet to release any concrete details on the release of the Network Adaptor in Europe, however consumer trials are scheduled to begin towards the end of March, with many suspecting a general release in the summer.
