PAL MGS3 Features Revealed News

By Jon Wilcox on 01/02/2005 Konami confirm the extra features that patient PAL Metal Gear fans will be able to use…

Konami have today announced the extra features that will make their exclusive debut in the PAL version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater set for release on March 4th 2005. The game, set during the height of the Cold War in 1964, sees Snake infiltrate lush jungle environments in order to capture a defected scientist.

The PAL version will include a Duel Mode, where players can face the various bosses in order, as well as a Demo Theatre, which will enable gamers to watch the cut-scenes in order. If the game isn’t hard enough already then European gamers can be thankful that the PAL version will include a European Extreme difficulty setting, place your bets on how challenging that mode will be. The PAL version also includes two new levels of Snake vs. the Monkeys so fans of the Ape Escape primates will be able to enjoy a little bit more crazy action.

The game will also feature more face paint designs and the winning camouflage designs from the competition Konami ran a while ago.

With just over a month to go, we’ll have more news on Snake’s return very shortly…

David Hayter needs to exercise and grow some hair on his head and chin to be solid snake. Plus I think he's perfect for it. But iuno about christian bale as the snake...he's a better liquid than solid

Oh and btw, you people need to stop jumping on one guy. Im sure there are about 20 other actors out there who could play snake. Jumping on one guy and saying anyone else would be horrible is just plain stupid.

Hugh Jackman is not nearly as good an actor as Christian Bale. Plus he stars in to many cornball action movies. Bale is the greatest actor of our generation. If he stars in this movie it is bound to be incredible.

Meatl Gear Solid 3, as well as the other titles are my life. The replay value is high, I play them all the time. For the sake of making MGS a popular movie my suggestions for characters are as follows: Snake/Hugh Jackman (anyone else, would be horrible).
