Controlling a mysterious figure that has inherited the legacy of the evil, long-dead Overlord, the player emerges, near death, from the ruins of the old Overlord's Dark Tower. Only the player's actions will determine if they will rise to become the new all-powerful Overlord; it's all down to how much of a bad ass they want to be in order to succeed... evil or really evil!

Overlord To Raise Hell On PS3 [UPDATE] News

Triumph Studios' anti-hero romp set to raise hell on PlayStation 3 this summer...

Soon after the release of Overlord in 2007 on Xbox 360 and PC, Triumph Studios featured several development opportunities for potential programmers to join the Dutch studio on an unspecified PS3 project.

Despite denials at the time, it now does appear that the project was a port of the third-person anti-hero game. Although an official statement has yet to be made by Overlord publisher Codemasters, reports from Future Publishing's CVG state that the PS3 version will be entitled 'Overlord: Raising Hell'.

Together with the full version of Overlord, the PS3 edition will apparently feature the downloadable content released over Xbox Live Marketplace, including the expansion pack - also called 'Raising Hell'.

Additional details are expected to be released in the not to distant future.

[UPDATE] Codemasters has confirmed that Overlord: Raising Hell will launch on PlayStation 3 during the summer - and that the game will now feature an in-game mini-map, removing one of the issues with the Xbox 360 version.
