One Million UK Xbox 360s Sold By Christmas News

Microsoft's VP for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa claims that the UK is leading the way in Europe...
Microsoft will sell over one million Xbox 360s in the UK by Christmas 2006, according to the company's Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and African territories.
Speaking to UK-based trade publication MCV, Chris Lewis said, "The UK team expects to get to a million 360 sales well ahead of Christmas. We have built up a good head of steam, so it certainly won't be nip and tuck."
The news comes as the company prepares to launch the next-gen platform into Eastern Europe and South Africa, though Lewis did state to MCV that Microsoft have had to lower expectations for the Xbox 360 in Spain.
Over ten million Xbox 360s are expected to have been sold globally by the end of 2006; we'll have more news shortly...
