The critically acclaimed PS2 game will be hopping onto Nintendo's Wii in Europe this June 13th...


Having been released in the US last month, Okami will be released in Europe for Nintendo's Wii this June 13th.

Originally released on the PS2 in 2006, Okami received a warm welcome from game critics the world over for its beautiful visuals, Zelda-esque gameplay, and enchanting story. After all, who wouldn't want to take control of Ameratsu, a sun goddess embodied in a white wolf?

Okami's visuals on the Wii have been improved over the PS2 version, being available in widescreen for the first time and in 480p resolution (previously 480i). Additionally, the developer that's responsible for the port, Ready at Dawn, has helpfully come up with a bespoke control setup for the Wii Remote.
