Obsidian Turns Neverwinter Nights 2 To Gold News

Atari and Obsidian confirms that the RPG follow-up to the 2002 title has gone gold...
In a joint statement, Obsidian Entertainment and Atari have announced that Neverwinter Nights 2 has gone gold ahead of its release in North America on October 31st and Europe on November 3rd.
Besides the Single-Player Campaign, the Neverwinter community will also be able to get their teeth stuck into the new toolset for the sequel, allowing them to create their own quests and gameworlds.
"Neverwinter Nights 2 has been an incredible journey to produce. We aimed from the beginning to develop a true sequel to Bioware's original Neverwinter Nights in order to continue its legacy of satisfying not only the RPG players, but the huge modding community," said Feargus Urquhart, Obsidian Entertainment's CEO. "Now that Neverwinter Nights 2 has gone gold, I feel we are able to say that we've done just that."
