Oblivion is a single-player game that takes place in Tamriel's capital province, Cyrodiil. You are given the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty, the previous emperor having been killed by an unknown assassin. With no true Emperor, the gates to Oblivion (the equivalent of hell in the world of Tamriel) open, and demons begin to invade Cyrodiil and attack its people and towns. It's up to you to find the lost heir to the throne and unravel the sinister plot that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel.

Oblivion's "Mehrunes' Razor" Free On Xbox 360 News

Bethesda brings a bit of festive cheer to Cyrodiil with news that the download will be free from now to New Years Eve...


Bethesda Softworks has today entered the festive spirit by announcing that the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion downloadable content "Mehrunes' Razor" is free to download from Xbox Live Marketplace - until New Years Eve.

The download, originally released back in June, sees players hunt down the artefact Mehrunes' Razor, and features what was at the time, the largest dungeon in the game.

After New Years Day, the download will go back to its usual price on Xbox Live Marketplace.

all of you people that say its not working becasue a quest pop up wont come thats not important its a minor script problem all you do is go to the island og near the bravil in niban bay and whenn your there you can get the quest message and the game... [ Read full comment... ]

dont lol at me but i play morrwind some times and the db attack is it like that you mean cuz if so they should attack or triger somethink when you slep soon after a new carter

im having the same problem as every1 elss iv got the knights of the nine and shivering isles but no profit no gate even after literaly 1000 hours in every city every part of the imperial city too im giving up! (even after the upgrade to oblivion 1.2)
