Raft of Capcom titles set for European distribution by Nintendo in the first quarter of 2006...

In a joint announcement Nintendo of Europe and Capcom have today confirmed a deal that will see several of the Japanese publisherâs DS and GameCube titles distributed by the European arm of Nintendo. The deal revolves around the release of titles in the first quarter of 2006 including Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble, Phoenix Wright : Ace Attorney and Megaman Battle Network 5 for Nintendo DS, and Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble for GameCube and though Nintendo will be distributing the games, publishing rights remain with Capcom.

Both Viewtiful Joe titles are set for a February 2006 release with Phoenix Wright expected in March and Megaman slated for an âearlyâ 2006 launch.

Making the announcement Jim Merrick, Senior Marketing Director for Nintendo of Europe said "Nintendo is delighted to have signed a distribution deal with one of the most prestigious developers in the gaming industry. Capcom games are of the highest standards in both creativity and quality and fit perfectly with our line-up for the first half of 2006."

Weâll have more news on all of these titles in the coming weeksâ¦
