What Are RSS Feeds?

RSS feeds allow you to stay informed when new content has been added to a website. TVG offers RSS feeds for the latest headlines from the videogames industry, along with individual feeds associated to specific games found on each Game Summary page.

How Do I Use RSS Feeds?

Both Internet Explorer 7 and FireFox 2.0 offer RSS readers as standard options. To begin receiving automatic content you simply have to decide what you'd like to receive. For example, if you would like the latest news on Metal Gear Solid 4: Sons of the Patriot you'll notice the RSS icon on the Game Summary page.

IE users should click the RSS icon found on pages across TVG that provide feeds, or alternatively click the RSS button found next to the Tabs when on a page that contains an available feed. After a few seconds the feed will be displayed, click 'Subscribe to this feed' to begin automatically receiving the latest content from TVG.

RSS feeds are visible in IE7 by clicking the Favourites Center (Alt+C) found towards the left side of the browser, and clicking on Feeds.

FireFox users should click the RSS icon found in the address bar on pages across TVG that provide feeds. After a few seconds the feed will be displayed, click the 'Subscribe Now' button to begin automatically receiving the latest content from TVG.

RSS feeds are visible in FF 2.0 by clicking Bookmarks> (Ctrl+B) and are listed under the folder you chose to save to when subscribing.

External RSS readers are also available, a list of which can be found here - Click here
