Long running rumours about NiGHTS' return surface; US report suggests confirmation from SEGA Europe...
Having wowed on SEGA's Saturn console ten years ago, a follow up of NiGHTS into Dreams has been a long-standing wish for many gamers - but to no avail.
Rumours that the game would be updated for Wii have also been doing the rounds over the past twelve months, but there hasn't been confirmation from SEGA that NiGHTS would be making a return - despite a recent poll where the publisher listed a number of titles (including NiGHTS) that people would like to see again.
Since then, US Official Nintendo Magazine has poured fuel on the fire, remarking that its next issue would reveal that "a classic game makes a long overdue return!" whilst printing a constellation that apparently maps the NiGHTS logo. US-based blog Joystiq has subsequently reported that a SEGA Europe product manager has confirmed that NiGHTS Wii has been in development for six months.
The speculation continues.
