Online speculation emerges at a new expansion for the MMORPG...


As the countdown to BlizzCon 2007 continues, the first wave of speculation as to what Blizzard Entertainment may announce at the event, which takes place at the end of the week in Anaheim, California, has emerged online.

Originating from fansite WoW Insider, the rumours surround the possibility that a second expansion pack to the MMO could be unveiled, specifically focusing on the polar region of Northrend, last seen in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.

Speculation that Northrend's frozen wastelands will be the next continent to make an appearance on World of Warcraft emerged after WoW Insider received sheet music allegedly from within Video Games Live, which is set to play at the event. Entitled 'Northrend 1', 'Northrend 2', and 'Northrend 3', it would certainly seem that an announcement could very well be on the cards - especially when the first expansion, The Burning Crusade, was also unveiled back at the 2005 event.

Either way, it won't be long before we find out if our Mages, Warriors, and Draenei will have to pack for arctic conditions...

to the person that sed the dreani arnt a good race, they are the same as any other race apart from there features there missions are the same as anyother race, in this game u cant compare races no matter what apart from the blood elves who dont have ... [ Read full comment... ]

you all sound like complete scrubs/noobs please dis the game if u must but dont tell us u quit because u had to spend so much time on it, probley because u sucked at it and couldnt be bothered well then thats why you suck at it scrubs LLOLOLLOL

world of warcraft is a good game to play for and hour or 2 i dont play for 2 long becosue i dont want to get addicted to it like the people how play WOW 24/7

Wow is designed in such a manner that you HAVE to commit immense number of hours into the game in order to actually achieve anythuing. All the items you will get in drops will be 2-5 levels lower. The game is designed in codepency and farming tons of... [ Read full comment... ]

It's silly to call one MMO is better than another. They are all designed to target different market shares and niches. Thats like going to a women's shoestore and complaining that their are no boots. It is not the stores fault, it is yours.

only reason it was ever successful was because blizzard is a NA based company and ir had the backing of and old title ANY and i mean ANY NCsoft title is way better
