Capcom blow the lid of Resident Evil Online with new info and lots of screens...
The lid on the mysterious Resident evil Online was blown open today, as Capcom unveiled a barrage of new screens and information on the PS2 title.
Following on from our previous information, itās now known that youāll be able to help other playable characters in a number of ways. Players can swap and give items and weapons to other characters, as well as giving them a hand to get to certain areas and even lending a shoulder for tired members to take a rest.
The events of the game take place around the spread of the T-Virus, witnessed in Resident Evil 2 and to some extent 3. Starting from the large science laboratory that Umbrella installed in Raccoon City. You join a group of surviving humans, trying to escape from the nightmare that has hit the once peaceful city and before an impending missile strike is used to clear up the incident.
This is likely to be the game to sell the PS2 Broadband Kit when itās released, weāll have more information to follow.
