Time to head off to the high seas in Bioware`s latest module for Neverwinter...
Bioware has unveiled the latest Premium Module for Neverwinter Nights, entitled Pirates of the Sword Coast. In the module, players play the part of a sailor on board the merchant ship âMidnight Roseâ that stops for supplies in Neverwinter where events take a strange turn.
With new gameplay for both single-player and multi-player experiences, Pirates of the Sword Coast lets gamers live the life on the high seas as they explore Sword Coast in a storyline with multiple endings with ability to build up a loyal crew from ten potential sailors.
The narrative for Pirates of the Sword coast has been written and developed by Bioware designers, and the new module also includes new music by âcommunity composerâ David John. Aimed at Level 5 to 10 players, any gamer with a setting of 4 or below will automatically be set to 5 for the adventure, which is set expand gameplay by an extra 8 to 12 hours, which Bioware claims is the largest module released yet for the game.
In order to download the module, which costs $9.99, gamers are required to already have the original Neverwinter Nights, Shadows of Undrentide, and Hordes of the Underdark, as well as an internet connection when playing, 175MB of free space for the installation, and 43MB of space for a Windows installation, or 62MB for Linux.
