Microsoft confirms some of the thirty new species heading to Pinata Island this September...

The menagerie of candy-filled piņatas has been expanded upon today, as Microsoft reveals some of the new species heading to Pinata Island in the forthcoming Xbox 360 exclusive, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise.

Over thirty species will be heading to the Viva Pinata sequel, which is heading to Europe from September 5th, including some found in two new regions: Dessert Desert and Pinarctic.

Players will have to entice the likes of the Pengums and Polollybears from their icy surroundings to the garden by keeping a few patches of snow on the ground, whilst sand areas will have to be created if the likes of the Camellos and Jameleons are to join in the fun.

TVG had a sneak peak at the return of Pinata Island recently during the Xbox 360 Spring Showcase, which included a look at the more open co-op mode and some of the other new features coming in the autumn.
