We check out the first set of screens for The Matrix Online.
Today we were sent the latest screens taken from the development build of "The Matrix Online". Due for release in 2004 currently in development at Monolith Studios. The game will be published by Ubi Soft.
Unlike Enter The Matrix, The Matrix Online, as its name suggests will be played online, allowing thousands of gamers around the world to create their own unique character, then battling to save the world online.
Although very little is known on this title at present, the official site which launched recently at: http://thematrixonline.ubi.com/ is carefully revealing selective information. With a recent update informing us that characters in the game will progress though the use of Ability Codes. In "The Matrix" Neo was able to master martial arts in a single day. In The Matrix Online, characters can upload programs into their brains that confer incredible amounts of knowledge and skill, thus allowing your character to learn new skills allowing you to progress through the game.
To keep you up-to-date we have added a selection of new screens and artwork pictures from the game in development.
