A leak appearing on gaming blogs reveals further details on the Master Chief's return...
The forthcoming issue of EGM has a detailed look at Bungie's Halo 3, details of which have managed to find their way to the internet ahead of its release.
If you're counting down the days until the Master Chief returns we'd probably advise you to skip this article, spoilers aplenty. Nevertheless, if you just can't help yourself, scroll down a little further to discover some of what's revealed.

Confirming that the Arbiter won't be making a playable return, Halo 3 will focus purely on the Master Chief's actions. There is a suggestion, however, that the former Covenant Elite will provide the second character in the game's co-op mode.
Promising advanced AI that now gives the Covenant the ability to climb, Chieftans now sport jetpacs to gain an upper hand in the fight. An encounter towards the end of the second mission should escalate the action to new heights, with claims that enemy/ally characters will number the same as the entire first mission from Halo: Combat Evolved.
New vehicles include the Brute Prowler, along with the USNC Hornet and Elephant; whilst new weapons include the flashbang styled Flame grenade, the dual-wieldable Brute Mauler, the appropriately named Gravity Hammer and several others that you can find more about on the various gaming blogs across the net.
