New GameCube Final Fantasy For E3??? News

Reports suggest that Square-Enix will announce a new Final Fantasy for GameCube at E3; thankfully with a closer resemblance to previous titles…
Official magazines tend to offer a slightly rose-tinted opinion on the current state of affairs; however if youāre willing to believe an article from the Official Nintendo Magazine, then Square-Enix and Nintendo will announce a new GameCube title at the forthcoming E3 event.
The article claims that the title will once again be set in the Final Fantasy universe, however this time around should bear a closer resemblance to previous titles in the franchise, and would contain elements of Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX.
Whilst weāre not ready to fully believe this just of yet, itās just the type of thing Nintendo needs if it continues to improve; weāll hopefully have more information soon.
