New GBA Title FROM Sega News

THQ sign Altered Beast: Guardian of the Realms, Revenge of shinobi and Space Channel 5 for the GBA.
THQ and Sega of America, today announced that they have added three more titles to their GBA co-publishing agreement, taking the total to 16 titles.
Joining the list will be Altered Beast: Guardian of the Realms â“ a port of the ancient and mediocre MegaDrive title, The Revenge of Shinobi â“ superb MegaDrive title, and Space Channel 5 â“ conversion of the rhythm/action Dreamcast title.
âWith classic SEGA franchises like ALTERED BEAST: GUARDIAN OF THE REALMS and THE REVENGE OF SHINOBI, THQ will continue to deliver top-quality content for the ever-expanding Game Boy Advance audience,â said Alison Locke, executive vice president, North American Publishing, THQ. âTitles such as these will bolster THQâs position as the leading third-party publisher in the handheld category throughout 2002 and beyond.â
âALTERED BEAST and SHINOBI are time-honored SEGA classics,â said Charles Bellfield, vice president of strategic planning and corporate affairs, SEGA of America, Inc. âOur strategic alliance with THQ allows us to bring these hit franchises to the Game Boy Advance platform and an even wider universe of gamers.â
Both Altered Beat and Revenge of Shinobi are due in late 2002; Space Channel 5 is set to follow in early 2003. No word on a European release as of yet, however expect Infogrames to pick them up.
