The Demon Sands becomes the latest update to the Turbine developed MMO...

Turbine has today announced the release of The Demon Sands, the latest update to Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach. Expanding the amount of content in the game by 40%, The Demon Sands brings new monsters and battles to the MMO, as players trudge through the dungeons underneath the city of Stormreach, and explore the deadly deserts beyond.

New features have also been added to the game, including new PvP Combat across two modes, additional Solo gameplay, new Auction Houses, and a 10-point increase to the level cap.

"When the dev team told me that they wanted to build outdoor landscapes, PvP combat, more levels, and auction houses - all in one module - I was surprised to say the least," said Jeffrey Anderson, President and CEO of Turbine, Inc. "But they pulled it off and the result is just amazing."

The Demon Sands becomes the third module to be released for the MMO, following the release of The Twilight Forge and The Dragon's Vault earlier in 2006.

We'll have more news shortly...
