Themed gametypes, split car/bike events, and the promise of over one hundred medals...
Liverpool-based studio, Bizarre Creations has today unveiled further details on the upcoming Xbox 360 racer, Project Gotham Racing 4. The title, due for release in mid-October, has already revealed several of its secrets in the past few months - including news that it'll include motorbikes for the first time - but today, the studio spoke about the game's new Arcade Mode.
Described as offering 'instant gratification' for veterans of the Xbox-exclusive franchise, the Arcade Mode has been split into events for both two and four-wheeled vehicles, with further modules that focus on individual event types like 'Catch me if you can' Competitive races and 'Drifto 101' Kudos events. Bizarre confirms that 108 medals are up for grabs as players race around the streets of Macau, London, New York, and the other metropolitan delights of PGR4.
SEGA Europe today confirmed that Bizarre Creations' other work in progress, The Club, has been pushed back into early 2008.
