Neverwinter Nights 2 (NWN2) is a computer role-playing game set in the fantasy world of the Forgotten Realms, one of the popular campaign settings of Dungeons and Dragons. Atari confirms an ever so slight slip for Obsidian's sequel...

Originally slated for release this month, Neverwinter Nights 2 has slowly been slipping away from its originally intended release. Confirming a firm release date of October 20th back in July, it seems that Obsidian have a little more time to meet the lofty demands of NWN fans, with confirmation of a slight delay to November 3rd.

No reason has been attributed to the delay; though we are assured Neverwinter Nights 2 will definitely be out before the end of the year.

I will reserve my skeptical judgement until I can see info on game content. It is a shame they didn't strive for more compatibility. The modding world connected to NWN1 is going to so devestated. I will wait for feedback from them, whether or not NW... [ Read full comment... ]
