Tony Hawk's Project 8 immerses players in the skateboarding experience using ultra-realistic graphics, enhanced physics and extremely responsive controls that simulate the feeling of skating with every trick and bail. Balance and steer with Sony's new pad in the latest Tony Hawk's title...


Neversoft today released details on how they're exploiting the PlayStation3 Sixaxis joypad in the forthcoming Tony Hawk's Project 8.

Players will be able to use the pad's motion sensitive commands to balance and steer through every grind, manual, revert, combo and ollie, along with the all-new slow-mo 'nail the trick' techniques.

Naturally we'll have to wait a little longer before sampling this ourselves in Europe, however US gamers can look forward to Project 8 arriving on the PlayStation3 in time for the North American launch.
