Namco Bandai has today announced the development of Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked for PlayStation2. The game, which is based on the Cartoon Network series of the same name, integrates music and combat to play out the events of a 'lost episode' from the show.

During their search for the unusually name "Samurai who smells of sunflowers", players will be able to take control of the three characters from the series (Mugen, Jin, and Bushido), together with an exclusive fourth member of the group.
