Lineage II is a classically molded MMO, with a strong fantasy theme running throughout. Creating your character from a range of races, from dwarves to dark elves, players are thrown into the hectic and thrilling world of player vs player combat. Clans will form alliances with other clans, and as quickly break them to further their own ends. Play the bad guy for too long, however, and you may find yourself exposed by the innovative Karma system.

NCsoft Unveils The Oath Of Blood News

The fifth Lineage II Chronicle is unveiled by NCsoft; Oath of Blood due for August/September release...

NCsoft has today confirmed the first details on the upcoming fifth update to Lineage II, entitled Chronicle 5: The Oath of Blood. Due for release sometime in August/September 2006, the update will be free to subscribers and will see a number of additional features including a level cap increase to 80 and new areas for exploration (Rune and Schuttgart).

In addition, Chronicle 5 will also see the debut of an enhanced clan system, and improved PvP combat. The update will include new items better suited to solo gamers, or newcomers to the Lineage II experience.

NCSoft, if you want more players, create a PVP server with a GM shop, and you'll see how your bussines will improve :P
