The still unconfirmed sequel to Sony's MotorStorm will swap canyons for a "lush island environment"...
MotorStorm 2 could ditch the dusty canyons of the first game for much more fertile grounds, while also supporting 4 player split-screen multiplayer, and all in time for release before the end of the year.
This is according to BBC technology blog dot.life, which points out: "MotorStorm 2 is due out in time for Christmas and moves the action away from the desert locale of the original. Gamers will be able to race around a lush island environment, full of interactive vegetation."
The first MotorStorm had some impressive features, such as its surface deformation technology. Here's hoping that developer Evolution will be able to get the MotorStorm series out on the open road for this sequel, without the pressures and constraints of producing a launch title.
