Microsoft's European event set to return after a one year break...
According to a report on gamesindustry.biz, Xbox Vice President Peter Moore has confirmed that the annual Microsoft Xbox showcase X event will return this year after a break in 2004.
In the article, Moore says that X05 will be going ahead, although no details were given as to where and when the event will be held â“ X02 was in Seville, X03 in Nice with a break in 2004, so whether this yearâs event will be returning to Southern Europe or whether it will be in one of the many Northern European cities is anyoneâs guess.
With the launch of the Xbox 360 this year it had been expected that the event would return in 2005, but Mooreâs comments now mean that preparations for a European unveiling of the next-generation console as well as showcasing titles for the original Xbox are probably well underway.
