French publisher refutes recent suggestions that it has teamed up with Digital Jesters...
With the troubles facing Digital Jesters looking to have been solved for the time being at least thanks to a cash injection from Myriad Interactive, French publisher Monte Cristo today threw further doubt over the situation with the emphatic suggestion that it is till an independent label.
"Monte Cristo is an independent company which has appointed Digital Jesters to distribute part of our portfolio of games in the United Kingdom. This is our only link with Digital Jesters," commented Jerome Gastaldi, CEO of Monte Cristo.
"In addition, our relationship with Digital Jesters is currently at a standstill. Despite firm commitment from a representative of the new investors, their financial promises are not being met at the present time."
