The relationship between Mistwalker and Artoon continues with two new DS titles...
Originally reported by Shonen Jump late last month, it appears that Mistwalker's Blue Dragon will be making the crossover from Xbox 360 to the Nintendo DS with confirmation appearing in the Japanese press.
Aside from a March 2008 release in Japan details on the adaptation are thin on the ground, although our guess is going to be something involving cards. The DS port will reunite the trinity of Hironobu Sakaguchi, Akira Toriyama, and Nobuo Uematsu, and will see AQ Interactive taking on publishing duties, better known for such forgettable titles as Bullet Witch and Vampire Rain (eurgh) along with the forthcoming Cry-On.
GameKult further suggests that Sakaguchi-san also revealed a new title in development for the DS entitled AWAY Tsuresarareta Hitobito. Once again, the title unites Mistwalker and Artoon with the talents of Nobuo Uematsu and Naoto Oshima linked to the project - the latter renowned for designing Sonic the Hedgehog before founding Artoon in 1999.
