Mario decides to open a theme park called Super Mini Mario World. The opening-day crowd includes Pauline and Donkey Kong, who immediately falls head over heels for the lovely lass. The proud ape tries to show off his Mini DK toy to Pauline, but she picks the Mini Mario toy over his and the jealous Donkey Kong becomes enraged. He smashes the displays, and takes Pauline to the top floor of the amusement park. Players must find Pauline and save the day.

Nintendo confirms a March release date for Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis.

Nintendo of Europe has today confirmed a release date of March 9th for Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, on Nintendo DS.

Set during the opening day of Super Mini Mario World, March of the Minis sees the Mini Marios attempt to rescue Pauline (once again) from the clutches of Donkey Kong. Making use of the touch screen and stylus, players will have to guide the Minis around the various hazards, from Thwomps to DK's new sidekicks Mummy Guy and Snap Claw, across eight different themed areas.

A Level Editor has also been added to the game, enabling players to create their own levels, and share them across Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
