Japanese reports suggest Shinji Mikami has taken back Devil May Cry after the disastrous sequel...
Japanese reports are today suggesting that Shinji Mikami has taken control once again over the âDevil May Cryâ series, with the intention of overseeing the entire development of âDevil May Cry 3â.
This comes after widespread condemnation towards âDevil May Cry 2â, which was handed over to Tsuyoshi Tanaka to oversee whilst Mikami-san worked on other projects. The changes that Tanaka-san implemented alienated fans and led to a relatively hit-and-miss release for the sequel; whilst nothing has been confirmed we can certainly foresee Mikami-san wanting to get the franchise back on tracks.
Weâre not expecting âDevil May Cry 3â to be announced anytime soon, however if anything changes weâll be sure to keep you informed.
