Midway Announce Mortal Kombat: Deception News

Sixth title in the Mortal Kombat series heading to the Playstation2 and Xbox…

Midway today confirmed that a new âMortal Kombatâ title is currently in development for the Playstation2 and Xbox.

âMortal Kombat: Deceptionâ is the sixth title in the series, and sees the return of numerous characters including the likes of Baraka, Shao Kahn and Lui Kang, to mention but a few.

Numerous other features and enhancements will be added to the game, including multiple fatalities, and the return of stage fatalities after their omission in âMortal Kombat: Deadly Allianceâ; more importantly itâs believed that both versions will offer online play.

âMortal Kombat: Deceptionâ is scheduled for release in the autumn; weâll hopefully have more information and screens soonâ¦
