Vivendi-Universal delays the release of the MMORPG until some point in 2005…
Vivendi-Universal today confirmed the delay of the Lord of the Rings: Middle Earth Online, a MMORPG currently in development at Turbine Entertainment.
Originally scheduled for release before the end of the year, the game has now been delayed until an unspecified point in 2005, to allow the developers to ensure the game is of the highest quality possible whilst incorporating all of the ideas that they want to.
Vivendi-Universal have also confirmed that the game will not make an appearance at E3, allowing the developers to focus on finishing the product instead of creating a specialised version for the event.
