Microsoft Working Towards North American Xbox 360 Replenishment News

No figures, but Microsoft confirm that they`re working toward replenishing stocks of Xbox 360s in North America...
The Xbox 360 clock in Europe now stands at less than T minus 37 hours and counting, yet there are still masses across the pond waiting for their first experience of the next-generation. Responding to questions from Next Generation on when the next wave of consoles will be sent to North America, a Microsoft spokesperson said:
"We donât want to get into short term projections right now because any number we provide will become grossly outdated very soon. Retail replenishment varies market to market and consumers should check back with their retailers frequentlyâ¦We are well aware that many gamers are disappointed to have not gotten their Xbox 360 on day one. We are working around the clock to manufacture as many Xbox 360s as we can and are replenishing our retail channel week after week."
Meanwhile, USA Today quotes Microsoft spokeswoman Molly OâDonnell as saying that the first replenishment shipment is ââ¦on the way, and it should be on retailers' shelves by the end of the week or for the weekend."
OâDonnell also spoke to the US paper about the number of publicised cases of Xbox 360 crashes, stating that, âWe are doing everything we can to take care of gamers who are having problems." Despite reports of crashes and glitches, USA Today estimates are that the number of complaints about such occurrences are below the 3%-5% mark usually associated with newly launched electronics.
