Microsoft Will Take Head Start Again With Next Xbox News

Microsoft's Robbie Bach speaks candidly about the Xbox 360 launch and suggests they'll do it again...
It's still too early to decide whether Microsoft's move to position itself as the first next-generation console on the market proves to work or whether the console will run out of steam before the PlayStation3 really gets going.
Still it seems Robbie Bach President of Entertainment & Devices Division, is quite happy for the computer giant to try the trick again.
Speaking in a roundtable interview featured on VentureBeat.com, Bach states, "If you take the question of whether it was the right thing to try to be first, the answer to that is definitely yes."
Noting that it bought an advantage with many developers working on multi-format titles basing concepts around the Xbox 360 first along with the importance of Xbox Live, Bach states:
"At a strategy level, if you asked if we wanted to be first again, I would say yes. The truth is when we set that date, we didn't do it to be first. We thought Sony would ship at that point. But they slipped a year."
