Microsoft Unveils Halo 3 Teaser News

Bungie's third instalment in the Halo franchise is finally revealed at Microsoft's E3 conference...
Earlier today Microsoft held its E3 conference at the Grauman Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, and besides the other announcements and teasers that will be reported on TVG shortly, the company also played a teaser trailer for Bungie's Halo 3.
Ending with a tagline of "Finish the Fight 2007", the teaser is set in the grass plains surrounding a structure unearthed by Covenant forces, and features both the Chief and remote transmissions from Cortana. Bungie has confirmed that the trailer was being rendered in realtime on Xbox 360, and makes use of the latest version of their Halo 3 game engine, which includes visual effects features such as HDR lighting and self-shadowing, and with some assets taken from the actual title.
