Following a brief appearance on the US Xbox.com pages, Microsoft removes news revealing the identity of the director of Halo...
It appears that Microsoft has removed a news article that appeared on the US pages of Xbox.com, which revealed the identity of the director on the forthcoming Halo movie. According to the official Xbox website, the man helming what Microsoft hopes will be the summer blockbuster of 2008 will be...Neill Blomkamp.
An unknown in the world of feature films, Blomkamp's background mostly revolves around 3D visual effects and commercials (helming Citroen's 'Alive With Technology' ad), so there's nothing like being dropped into the deep end of directing a major movie...
Sadly the press release confirming Blomkamp's role in the movie has been removed from Xbox.com - and Microsoft officials in the US have refused to speculate on the press release.
