Exciting features of Xbox2 revealed in a Microsoft job vacancy…
Some light has been shed on the exciting prospect that is Xbox2 (Xenon), as Microsoft has advertised a vacancy on their website for a Software Development Engineer/Test Lead at their HQ in Redmond, Washington.
Whilst working for one of the worldâs largest corporations may not be everybodyâs dream job, the position will offer the unique role of setting up some of the infrastructure behind some of Xbox2âs key features including âXbox TVâ, and âSpectator Modeâ.
If the development of Xbox Live! wasnât enough to push the boundaries of online gaming way beyond anything thatâs gone before, then if these features were to come to fruition, Microsoft could well be on the verge of smashing the barrier once more â“ Sony beware.
The prospect of watching the best players in the world playing a game like FIFA from the comfort of your own home would be the video games equivalent of the FA Cup Final, and would be a sure fire hit with gamers around the world. Awesome.
