Citing quality issues, Microsoft cancels the entire 2004 range of XSN sports titles…
Microsoft Game Studios today made the shock announcement that it will cancel the entire range of XSN Sports titles scheduled for release this year, with only Rallisport Challenge 2 emerging from the decision.
The US publisher cited quality issues behind the decision, however many have already begun to speculate that the decision was based around the on-going talks between Microsoft and EA in order to secure the latterās titles feature Xbox Live! support.
Itās certainly a brave decision considering the splashes that Microsoft were making about the XSN Sports Network last year, and must come as a disappoint to Xbox owners ā“ particularly in the US where the titles were focussed.
