Think you’re good at Project Gotham Racing 2, then give it a shout and stand the chance of picking up a cool 4000 euros…
Microsoft Game Studios today announced what Project Gotham fans have been crying out for, an all-out online battle for racing supremacy in the first Project Gotham Racing 2 Tournament.
Being held between April 19th â“ May 10th, three European winners will receive a trip to the NASCAR Speed Week in the US during May 27th â“ May 31st, and gain the chance to become the Online Racing World Champion.
In order to compete gamers must simply record their best times on the âPrincess Street Eastâ track in Edinburgh; the racers with the best times â“ two from the United States, two from Canada and three from participating countries in Europe â“ will have the chance to represent their country as finalists in Charlotte, USA.
The lucky winner who becomes the Grand Champion will walk away with a cheque for 4000 euros (£2600), a one-year subscription to Xbox Live! and the smug sense of glee gained from being a World Champion.
All you need to do to take part is to play Project Gotham Racing 2 on the Xbox Live! service at some point between 12.00hrs (midday BST/ 1.00pm CET) on 19th April to 12.00hrs (midday BST/1.00pm CET) up until 10th May and record your best time on the âPrinces Street Eastâ track in Edinburgh.
To be eligible, gamers should be over 21, be opted in for communication with Xbox Live! so that Xbox Live! can contact them if they win and be in one of the ten participating European countries - Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
