Miyamoto confirms that Metroid Prime: Hunters can be played without the stylus and addressed DS durability issues…
Comments recently made by Shigeru Miyamoto in the Official Nintendo Magazine have confirmed that Metroid Prime: Hunters will be playable without the stylus.
The Nintendo DS title used the stylus when it was displayed at E3 to control Samus aiming and shooting, however Miyamoto confirmed that they are currently looking at new control options available to the player.
When speaking about the durability of the DS, Miyamoto-san claimed that hours of uninterrupted gameplay on the device can dirty the touch-screen, although you can simply wipe the screen clean with a towel.
