The director of Super Metroid is currently hard at work on Metroid 4 for the GameBoy Advance.
Sources close to TVG today confirmed that a new Metroid title is in the works for the GameBoy Advance, whilst this has been common knowledge for quite a while specific details are finally beginning to emerge.
Yoshio Sakamoto, head of Project Development at Nintendo and director of Super Metroid, is currently at work on Metroid 4 for the GameBoy Advance. Sakamoto is also currently involved with Retro Studios on Metroid Prime for the GameCube.
