This title marks the debut of this highly regarded franchise onto the Nintendo DS as the series enjoys its' 10th anniversary. The battle scars from the previous war against General Morden had started to fade and the reconstruction of the cities and the army was well underway. The people had started to feel safe again, but when a mysterious figure is spotted on a routine scouting of Garbage Island it seems that this war is far from over.

Metal Slug 7 Confirmed For Europe News

An autumn release for the first original title in the Metal Slug series...

For the handful of gamers who still reminisce over the good old days, Ignition Entertainment today announced an autumn European release for Metal Slug 7 on the Nintendo DS.

Joining the hallowed ranks shared by the likes of Police Academy, Metal Slug 7 is the first title in the once popular run-and-gun series not to be a conversion of an arcade original.

Ralf Jones and Clark Steel make a return from Metal Slug 6, joining the established cast that includes Marco, Fio, Tarma, and Eri as they fight against General Morden across 7 missions. A host of new weapons await along with the promise of the biggest and baddest SLUG vehicle to date.
