Pandemic and EA confirm Xbox 360, PlayStation2, and PC versions to join the PS3...
Having previously been solely announced for PlayStation3, Pandemic Studios and Electronic Arts have today confirmed that Mercenaries 2: World in Flames will be simultaneously released on Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation2.
"Mercenaries 2: World in Flames delivers the next evolution in explosive open world gameplay - regardless of the system you play it on," said Pandemic Studios CEO Andrew Goldman. "All four platforms are incredible gaming machines, and from the beginning we designed an experience that accentuates their individual strengths and delivers the interactive freedom and explosive action Mercenaries fans demand."

Whilst an appearance on Xbox 360 isn't surprising given the performance of past PlayStation3 'exclusives' (like Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed), it's the addition of a PS2 version that'll cause more than a few eyebrows to be raised...
