Microsoft confirms a Limited Edition release of MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf across America…
Generating pre-release hype is of increasing importance within the videogames industry, as many publishers look upon DVD styled âLimited Editionâ releases as a perfect way of doing so and raking in pre-orders.
With the Limited Edition Halo 2 breaking pre-release booking orders across the globe, Microsoft today confirmed that MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf would also be released in Limited Edition form.
With âsupplies limitedâ gamers will need to hurry to retailers to pick up a copy, which contains two exclusive maps and a âMaking Ofâ documentary with footage from the development and interviews with Day 1 Studios.
Microsoft has yet to confirm a European release of the Limited Edition, with the standard version set to arrive during January 2005; weâll have more information soon.
