Nintendo Europe article suggests that the latest Mario Tennis title will support online multiplayer…

Nintendo certainly displayed their intention of finally moving towards online multiplayer at this yearâs E3, with multiplayer features used as a key focus to demonstrate the Nintendo DS wireless capabilities.

However we certainly didnât expect to see the Japanese publisher begin to push GameCube titles online, as Nintendo Europe today reported that the forthcoming Mario Tennis will feature an online mode.

Whether this is a simple mistake from the European division or marking a long-overdue entry into online games from the Japanese publisher remains questionable; weâll do our best to uncover the facts, but those with the rare GameCube BB adaptors may want to start dusting them off soon.
