On the day of its UK release Nintendo stops the party...


Merely minutes after Mario jumped onto the board for the latest party shenanigans with the European release of Mario Party 8 on Wii, Nintendo issued a statement that all copies of the game have been recalled from UK retailers.

Beyond a "small number" of copies of the game containing the wrong version of the disc, Nintendo has refused to elaborate on why such a drastic measure has been undertaken and whether the mistake surrounds UK versions only.

Certainly over the weekend we've noticed the game on-sale in high-street shops and supermarkets, so if you can shed any further light please let us know.

i think the game has lots of good mini games but the board games make it boring it takes for ever to finish one game and when you win two, you lose! but other than that i love the game!especially the mini games when you on a battle!

wtf! anyway i think this game will be sosososososo gd lolz. i cannot wait 4 it 2 come out. Il go daisy meh bruver'll go yoshi n meh m8s ll go toad and wario it'll be so gd on 4 player. i reckon it'll be in the top 5 games 4 wii ever!
