Looks like Mario buddies FROM across the globe wont be able to play with each other.
The highly awaited US release of Mario Kart Super Circuit is barely a week away. The chance to play Mario Kart on the move is exciting gamers across the globe, however if you've got an import version in the hope of some serious multi-plyare action now may be the time to have a sob.
Unfortunately Japanese copies of the game will not work with US copies, and vice-versa. So if you spent the money ordering an import cart, you're not going to be able to swap ghost data or participate in multi-player battles.
It's a hard world, at least you can take solace in the fact it's still seven days away from ageneral release, better make it worth it...
CVG recently spoke with a European Nintendo spokesman, who confirmed this will feature in the European release, however US players will be able to play against UK players.
