Reports allege that the controversial title was found in the victim’s bedroom, not the killer’s…
The continuing Manhunt saga took an unsuspecting twist today, with confirmation that a copy of the controversial RockStar title was found in the victimâs bedroom instead of that of Warren LeBlanc.
This does continue to cloud the situation, given that Pakeerahâs parents demanded a ban on such âmatureâ titles, and once again raises the issue as to why a 14-year-old was allowed to illegally own/play a title containing an 18 BBFC rating.
Narinder Pooni, Media Services Officer for Leicestershire Police, confirmed to MCV: âApparently the game was found but it was in Stefan Pakeerahâs bedroom.â
Pooni went on to reaffirm that the police are not making any link between the game and the case; stating that the motive was robbery and accusing certain sections of the mass-media of ignoring this fact.
The latest twist comes after news that Manhunt has re-entered the All-Format Top 20; proving once and for all that there's no such thing as bad publicity.
